'silver sheen' will grow in full sun or part shade and grows best in well drained, fertile soil but will tolerate almost all soil types. In addition to 'silver sheen' (my favorite), consider variegated 'silver magic', with light green leaves edged in cream. The silver sheen pittosporum is a wonderful large shrub to use for screening off unsightly views or softening up property lines. Pittosporum tenuifolium 'silver sheen', euphorbia characias 'wulfenii', gazania, helichrysum, stachys byzantina.
